CLASS DESCRIPTION:

This topic will explain about Ischemic heart disease in developed countries and also in many developing countries. We will talk about the anatomy of the heart, blood supply, and symptoms of ischemic heart disease.

The discussion will be on the factors that lead to arteriosclerosis of the coronary arteries, which is the blockage of these arteries that supply the heart muscles.

We will be studying the conventional modality of treatments of ischemic heart disease and whether there are any evidence-based studies that we can reverse the progression of arteriosclerosis.

He is a Board Certified Lifestyle Medicine Physician from the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine and the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine. He also holds a Fellowship from the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine.
